Agriculture means water management. Human technologies have penetrated the earth, many times helping growth, other times altering the subsoil. For decades we abused pesticides, hormones, soil disinfectants and other artificially synthesized molecules that, through water, later penetrated our bodies. 

Water is the vehicle of these technologies.

65% of Spain's fresh water is used in agriculture, irrigation accounts for 22% of the surface of our country. Any alteration in its quality or quantity affects our life. The future inevitably involves cultivation without chemical residues, so laboratories are researching natural alternatives: biostimulants, biopesticides and probiotics are growing in the international market due to changes in regulations and consumer demands.

Biotechnology companies develop and manufacture compounds that distribute mostly through water. Their clients are large producers and they develop specific products for entire territories such as greenhouses in southern Spain.
